Are there changing facilities at the venue?
No, so please come dressed ready to go.  Comfortable clothing under the Santa Suits and suitable footwear is recommended to avoid risk of injury, especially if you intend to jog or run.

Can I park at the venue?
No but the town municipal car parks are open and will be free of charge on the day.

Are there toilets at Vale Park?
Yes.  They will be open from 7am the morning of the Santa Dash.

Where will the money raised go?
The money raised will be divided equally between St John Ambulance (Registered Charity No. 1077265/1) and The PACE Centre (Registered Charity No. 1011133)

Can my sponsors use Gift Aid to maximise the amount riased?
Yes!  Please encourage any sponsors (who are UK Tax payers) to tick the "Gift Aid it" box on your sponsorship form to enable the Charities to obtain gift aid on their sponsorship.... at no cost to you or the sponsor.

What do I get for my entry fee?
The entry fee (Adults - £10, Children under 12 - £5) covers administration fees, your Santa Suit to wear for the event and keep afterwards, a commemorative finishers medal and a hot breakfast at the finish.

How much should I raise in sponsorship?
We request that participants raise a minimum of £25 - which makes all the effort worthwhile and gives you the satisfaction of having made a worthwhile contribution to two charities.  There is no maximum!  All monies raised must be paid to St John Ambulance no later than 31st January 2012.

How do I arrange sponsorship via "Just Giving"?
If you wish to arrange your sponsorship via "Just Giving", visit www.justgiving.com/sja and click on "make your page".  It is essential that you state that proceeds are for St John Ambulance Buckinghamshire, reference Aylesbury Santa Dash 2011 (total funds are subsequently split equally with this year's partners, The PACE Centre, Aylesbury).

When should I enter?
The sooner, the better.  Numbers are limited so we don't want you to be disappointed.

Can I enter on the day?
No, we regret entries cannot be accepted on the day.

A number of us want to run together.  Can we send one cheque to cover us all?
Yes, just send the forms in together with one cheque to cover everyone.  You may like to take part displaying your group's or company logo or name on your suits - it's free advertising!

What happens if I am ill or just can't make it on the day?
If you are ill, please do not attempt to come.  Your health and wellbeing come first.  We regret however that there can be no refunds for non attendance.

I am a wheelchair user.  Can I take part?
Yes you can.  The route has been assessed as suitable for wheelchair users.

Can I bring a pushchair or buggy?
Yes but we would ask that you start at the back and are aware of and considerate to other participants along the way.

Is it a race?
No, but there will people who are competitive and someone has to cross the finishing line first!  You can run, jog, or walk round the course.
